The romantic and unspoilt villages of Au and Schoppenau both access the Diedamskopf ski area. The lifts are included in the giant 3 Valleys Super Pass that covers most of Vorarlberg's smaller resorts. The picturesque archirctural Bregenzerwald style has been maintained.

The Austrian Ski Resort of Au has direct access to 37km of downhill skiing, with 25 individual pistes, served by 7 ski lifts.

With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.

There are five Airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Au are perfectly feasible. Friedrichshafen Airport and St. Gallen-Altenrhein Airport are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
