The Gunter Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk San Antonio is located in downtown San Antonio and across the street from the scenic San Antonio River Walk.
After undergoing a $50 million renovation, the new iteration of the 116 year old hotel is modernized with new bathrooms, mid-century inspired fixtures, rich color palates and more. As a nod to Blues legend Robert Johnson, who recorded his first album at the hotel in 1936, each room is equipped with a record player and a copy of his first record. The hotel also features a vinyl library in the lobby that guests can take advantage of during their stay. This revitalization includes four new dining and bar concepts, a cutting-edge recording studio, and modern amenities while preserving the Gunter's rich heritage and historic significance.
Guests can begin the day with a morning workout in the fitness centre, or take a refreshing swim in the heated pool. For banquets and conferences, Gunter Hotel offers over 20,000 square-feet of meeting space. A unique 1920’s style barber shop is also available on-site.
The Gunter Hotel, famously known as the center of everything, is less than a mile away from the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and across the street from the Majestic Theatre.
