Bicheno by the Bay offers self-contained holiday cottages, most with Tasman Sea views.
Surrounded by native bushland, Bicheno by the Bay Tasmania is a 3-minute walk from Bicheno town centre, the Blowhole, Whalers Lookout and the Foreshore Footway.
Each of the free-standing timber bungalows has their own kitchen, bathroom, separate bedrooms and lounge room. All have a private terrace off the lounge room and main bedroom.
The motel-style rooms include electric blankets, heating, flat-screen TV and DVD player. Each has a spacious modern bathroom with shower, plus a private terrace.
Facilities include an outdoor pool, full-size tennis court and a children's playground.

One-Bedroom Bungalow (Sleeps 2, 1 Bathroom)
These spacious, 1 bedroom shacks are perfect for an overnight stay. We have two facing the ocean and one overlooking the pool. These bungalows have a kitchen, bathroom, lounge/dinning area, queen bed and private verandah. Please note that these are not the coloured A Frames. Please book a Deluxe Bungalow with Sea View for these rooms.
Two-Bedroom Bungalow (Sleeps 5, 1 Bathroom)
These 2-bedroom bungalows overlook the bush. It includes a queen-sized bed and 2 single-sized beds as well as a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, lounge/dining room, private verandah and covered parking at your door. The Two Bedroom Bungalow is perfect for a family. Please note that this bungalow is on two levels and has stairs leading up to the bedrooms. All the living and bathroom area is on the ground floor.
Three-Bedroom Bungalow (Sleeps 6, 2 Bathrooms)
This bungalow includes a queen-sized bed, 4 single-sized bed, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a lounge/dining room, private verandah and parking at your door.
Four-Bedroom Bungalow (Sleeps 9, 1 Bathroom)
This bungalow includes a king-sized bed, queen-sized bed and 5 single-sized beds. It also includes a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, lounge/dining room, private vernadah and covered car parking at your door.
Standard Double Room (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom)
This motel room includes views over man-made pond, a queen-sized bed, heating, flat-screen TV, walk-in shower, tea/coffee making facilities and a toaster, a microwave can be found in the adjacent Guest Laundry for guest use. Please note that one of the motel rooms is accessible for guests with reduced mobility.
Deluxe Bungalow with Sea View (Sleeps 2, 1 Bathroom)
These spacious 1-bedroom bungalows have stunning views of the ocean. They have a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, lounge/dining room, queen-sized bed, private verandah, bathroom and covered parking at your door.
Family Bungalow (Sleeps 4, 1 Bathroom)
This renovated two-bedroom bungalow includes a Queen bed and 2 single beds. Also provided is a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, lounge/dining room and private veranda. Please note that one of the 2 Bedroom Family Bungalows does have stairs and a steep driveway. Please notify us if this will be an issue and we will try our best to accomodate.
Bungalow (Sleeps 6, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms)
This three- bedroom deluxe bungalow with views of the ocean includes a Queen bed and 4 single beds or 2 x Queen Beds and Two Single Beds (please advise upon booking and we will try our best to accommodate). Also provided is a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, lounge/dining room and private terrace for entertaining.
Two-Bedroom Villa (Sleeps 4, 2 Bathrooms)
These waterfront villas have two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, laundry, full size kitchen, and views of the ocean from your private deck. Guests can choose between two bed types- 1 king size bed in 1st bedroom. 1 king size or 2 single beds in 2nd bedroom.
Deluxe Bungalow (Sleeps 6, 2 Bathrooms)
In the kitchenette, guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven. The spacious bungalow offers a flat-screen TV, a private entrance, a seating area, a dining area as well as garden views. The unit offers 4 beds.
