Ally - please can you do the english population a favour. Please do not use a french dictionary to translate a letter into French. It will have less attention paid to it than if you had written it in English.

I am sorry if this dashes your hopes of bringing the French judicial process into line - but I genuinely dont think your letter will have the slightest piece of affect on any outcome. I imagine Le Ski have put a few Euros into paying good lawyers to write letters?

Sorry if that dashes your hopes

Take up Sudoko or take some Nytol and have a kip on the train ;)

Bit Harsh Icy, I think we need to be a bit more like the French and stand up for our rights Brothers .... Viva La revolution

Why would I bother I never use the service as I don't use TO's, but if people feel strongly enough then they should bombard the EU and French government into action. 8)

Isn't it the principle though? Whether you use or not?

Thank you Ian

Some of my previous campaigns (on other matters I feel strongly about) have been quite successful :)

We do live in a democracy after all, and both France and the U.K. are part of the European Union.

Nothing's actually changed. The law has been there since 1996. This just confirms that you can be prosecuted for it, particularly if you annoy the locals enough. Pragmatism has been working well for the last 17 years or so in most resorts with most operators. In a small village, as a newcomer, it doesn't do to throw your weight about, open a competing ski school etc. They might just apply the letter of the law.
