To be honest I eat very little on a flight, I am too nervous a flyer. But have probably been spoilt by always flying Austrian Airways, there food is gorgeous.

Then you always get the ones you want :D

Rose, ski carriage could add a large chunk to your holiday costs

I am scared of flying on any airline after flying Business Class with Singapore Airlines.

17" LED TV, 2 5-course meals, a bed (not just a fully reclining seat), beautiful stewardesses, world class wines....the list is endless.

Therefore the thought of Easyjet is frightening )

Seriously, for short haul without luggage, I think you are better off with Ryanair or Easyjet than the flag-bearers, it does change a bit if you need to transport stuff.

We hire in resort but have already paid for carriage for our boards. Have paid for holiday in full now and they have sent receipt for full amount, not added any extra charges on.

I have always found Easyjet to be punctual. You should understand that they don't give out boarding passes, it is a free for all. So when they are calling everyone forward, (this is for the case when you are not going on to the plane by a ramp), aim not to be anywhere at the front of the queue to get on the bus. In fact, be right next to the door when on the bus.

Hence you will be first up the steps, and have a greater choice of seats.

Check your luggage allowance, board check-in, and BA euivalent food will be matched by EJ, by emailing Inghams. TBH the food is the least important.

Also, your ongoing connections both ways.

Definately check baggage allowance with Inghams. EasyJet only allow 20KG unless you have paid for Ski carrige. They also charge for additional bags, so well worth checking.

Easyjet are pretty damned good to be fair to them, although its the scrum for seats that I would prefer to do without on a ski holiday, as you cant really relax until you are on the plane.
Inghams will be quite within their rights to change carriers. However, the key issue here is the ski carriage, as BA are abviously free. You would expect to pay between £20 and £40 with the charter airlines, and Easyjet will charge considerably more, so I suggest a phone call to Inghams to request some kind of confirmation that you DONT have to pay for ski carriage when you check in, or alternatively an equivelant discount from the overall holiday cost.

Out of interest, which route is this that the flights have been changed on?

Route from Gatwick to Kuusamo/Finland. Strange that you say with BA ski carriage is free. When we booked and thought we were going BA we paid £30 ski carriage to Inghams. First time with Inghams and have had a job to even get a receipt out of them for the payment of the holiday. Managed to get a receipt yesterday and thats where we learnt of change of airways. Plus they have added that our cabin may or may not have bunk beds. Not happy as we have booked a four person log cabin and I know that it only has one bedroom and a double sofa bed in lounge, but we paid considerable under occupied supplements. So I think we could at least have a proper bed in the bedroom. So much for a romantic break for us in bunk beds.
