No its a very dilute solution that you soak your feet in for a little while, then wash it off. It does not leave a smell it just stuns the sweat glands into not working. Its prescribed quite a lot.

isn't that a bad thing? sweat is good surely? it's why we evolved the mechanism.

should be quite a good game on the slopes this year then, spot the person with the non sweating feet. I guess they'll be the ones with their tongues hanging out panting :roll:

Normal sweating is good thats what our bodies are supposed to do but there is a recognised condition called hyperhidrosis, where some people have soaking wet feet, hands or pits and they become really upset about it. If you were unlucky enough to have all three you would not be able to treat all parts or else it would interfere with the bodies sweating mechanism.

surely the sweat would have to emit somewhere else instead?
