After speaking to a few TO reps last year i would be tempted to turn and take a chance.
Apparently all you need to do is ask all the reps around at the airport that are collecting holiday makers if you can stow away on their bus.
I think a 20 euro note for the evenings beer fund is all you need.

An alternative is to get the train from Geneva to Cluses and then taxi upto to Les Carroz, friends did this and was very simple however I was collecting them from Cluses, There are always taxis at the station www.cluses-taxi.fr/

www.morzineshuttle.com just spotted this website at bottom of page will take you to Taninge from Geneva you could almost walk from Taninge to Les Carroz its another option

I think you should try google. The choice is really big. You might even be lucky and get a transfer from the airport without booking it in advance. Unless you want a totally private tranfer (which IS very expensive) even private companies, not just Altibus, often drop you off in the centre of town. It will depend on how big a group they will have to take, where they are all placed and whether the driver needs to get back to the airport. And you might have to wait for later flights if the transfer is a shared one (I think it's about 50 euros p/p return - but you don't need to book a return transfer, you can book it a day or two before departure, ask at the hotel you will be staying in).

thanks for the replies everyone...just the two of us going and will be staying in an apartment. HAve googled and so far best priced 66 euros return...just trying to beat that if possible
