Possible Snow in Tignes

To be quite honest if I had not booked already for January I would be off to North America
TBH I had considered Canada for a week but there are so many reasons not to do it compared to the short hop into Europe for me. I'm sure mid'end January will see plenty of good skiing available.
I so hope you are right.....the 24th doesn't seem that far away now :-(
The 9th is a lot closer!

I'm still waiting to book but if the season is like last year I'm going over the pond. It's a lot of money to spend on 'slush'

I'm planning on going 14th or 21st Jan, and will leave it right up to the last minute to book as there will be snow by then, its just finding the best snow and the right deal.Ian Wickham wrote:TowerBridge Andy wrote:Its frustrating that we had conditions like that then out west they have bucket loads of fresh. Key thing on the webcams today is the mackerel sky, sure sign of a change on the way. Few weather fronts will hit the Alps over the next few days, snow will fall.

It does look like something fairly profound is starting to build over the next week. :D
 I doubt there are many people praying, hoping, dancing for bad weather.
Poor old Scotland and NW England/NI look like some pretty s***** weather on the way as well.
