???
It's one of the best ski hills in North America. What are your criteria for asking? I can comment on pistes and terrain, but since I don't overnight there (we live close by) I can't comment on accom. or night life.

Are you really asking if Whistler is any good???

That's like asking 'Is winning the Lottery any good??' )

I assume by booking a trip there you've researched the area / accommodation etc.... Unless you have won the lottery and just booked it without looking, as money is not objective.
You'll never know, unless you try...

I was there last Christmas. You are putting yourself in a very dodgy position...because any ski resort you visit after Whistler will be a disappointment.

It is fantastic in every respect, you are going to have the time of your life. I stayed in the cheapest hotel I could find and it was superb. The food was great in all the restaurants we ate in, there are many bars that are all great depending on what atmosphere you're looking for. Ski hire equipment was top notch, instruction was excellent, the locals are friendly and caring and I need say no more about the slopes than powder, powder, powder!!!

You lucky B****r :D

Whistler is very good, do not agree it is the best, I preferred Colorado, and many places including Europe. Plenty of variety in Whistler, lots af skiing. Only downside is the potential for bad weather.
