I start off with smart heels, then by 11.30 they get changed to lower heels, then about 3pm flatties. My feet always ache, I know I am on my feet for about 10 hours a day but its ridiculous.

A tip Rose start with the flatties :D

I know, but I always kid myself that to-day the heels will be fine. Years ago I used to store a spare pair of shoes in the fridge at work, to change to midday, until the Pharmacy inspector looked in the fridge......whoops.

I've been advised by the chiropodist today to wear lace ups or velcro straps in future

What are you like in Stiletto's

I know you are taking the mick but Ill answer you anyay. I dont know whethere I have mentioned I suffer from plantar fasciitis off an on so have no idea whether this has an impact or whethere this is the problem full stop. If I wear high heels I end up in agony, if I wear any form of flip flop or pump I end up in agony. I have to have my arches supported (and for a year and a half I had to wear an insole in my shoes so I just lived in trainers). I was instructed to never let my bear feet touch the floor for a few months, which was a pain, especailly bath time. I had to wear my trainers to the edge of the bath then take them off (yes I was tempted to just keep them on lol) just before getting in. anyway I digress......and the answer to your question Ian is No, I dont do well in stilettos and Tony, No I didnt buy them

Zwee wrote:...Well I have returned home with one old pairs of boots and 3/4 of a new pair - the replaced outer boot should arrive within 10 days - Fingers crossed.

My left foot had no problems so I'm hoping that
(1) My Right boot arrives and
(2) LOWA are the boots for me
(3) I don't have to post  because 1 or 2 fails.

I haven't managed to find much info on LOWA ski boots (only "translated" on German or Polish sites) but if they work for me I don't really care!

All being well I shall be selling some Atomic ski boots and some boot heaters fairly soon.

I spent the weekend putting all the ski stuff back up in the loft for another year :( which reminded me to tell you that my other boot did arrive :D . I will have to wait for next year now to find out if they truly are the boot for me.

i have just bought myself the new head i-type 8 boots as i am currently wearing a pair of lowa air system boots which are 3 sizes too big for me.

i have just bought a size 25 in the head ones and the lowa ones are 26.5 - I bought the lowa ones as i have broad feet and the guy in the shop (in germany - language a bit of a barrier) said as i have broad feet i need to go bigger. theproblem i had was i had to fasten them up so much to keep them on my feet, my feet went numb.

so consequently i ahve a paid of lowa air systems size 26.5 if anyone wants to make me an offer.

pm if interested

Thanks

Tracy
