It's time to renew my annual travel policy and I'm starting to shop around. I wondered if anyone would be prepared to recommend a good company. Not so much worried about cost, more concerned with level of cover.

Had a claim on my policy last season and wasn't desperately impressed.

A colleague recommended Dogtag today, but he's never had to make a claim.

What are they like dealing with claims.....really the acid test of a good insurer.

Hey slamb

Don't know anything about insurance, but was wondering how that injury is now. Good to hear it hasn't put you off.

:D hi,very true about the test of the insurance company is whether they pay or not,but as far as direct line go i have my car, buildings & contents, european breakdown cover and multi-trip annual holiday insurance with them and have been very satisfied with the level of service i have had so far,but in the event of a claim(hopefully never will) will let you know how it goes.

Hi

Knee is very good thank you. Just been signed off by my physio - after 8 months of heavy re-hab. No reconstruction yet....my consultant told me to go ski with my brace and see how it goes. But it feels pretty much like it's partner and is very stable so I'm keen to get sliding.

So now begins the watching of the web cams and my forecastitis is in full spate. The only cure can be a good downpoor of the white stuff and some serious ski time.
