Hi, Can anyone help with some tips and advice for my 2st skiing hol.
Off to Borovets on 10th March (are we gonna get snow, or wil there be at least enough left??)
Has anyone stayed in the Iglika Hotel?
Does anyone know if Bulgaria now accepts Euro's?
Whats the dress code like at nights in the bars - do people dress up, or just jeans and jumpers?
If anyone has any other tips (eating / drinking etc) would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

I was in Borovets for a week in mid-March last year, and it was sunny and warm enough during the day that I didn't need a jacket until late afternoon. The snow got quite slushy toward the end of the week, but the first few days of skiing were great! Take the gondola up to the very top, that's definitely where the best snow is.

PS - jeans and jumpers for sure, and you'll want shoes or walking boots with good traction as the streets aren't cleared of snow and ice.

Yes, jeans boots and a coat. Nothing fancy. Watch your footing too - I've seen quite a few nasty falls!
