Caron-a, me and the OH can vouch for cycling.
We did 30 miles on Saturday to try and get a little exercise into the legs. Sat down all the way and couldnt stand up on Sunday!!

Thats good going I have only managed a max of ten miles ...... but I do get bored easily 8)
I find that if there's a pub in the middle and at the end it's a good incentive
An excellent point Caron :D :D
Very good point Caron, I do feel that we ought to be getting fit for all aspects of our skiing.

Now that's my kind of exercise, one that involves a pub. I also own a bike that hasn't seen the light of day for some time, good excuse to dust it off and get peddling.
Roller blading/inline skating also sounds good, sadly I flogged my roller blades at a car boot sale a few years ago, I was rubbish at it anyway.

This cycling business is all well and good, but it feels like someone has shoved something up your bottom a day later or the next time you go out on your bike.
