Looking at Ski in / out Austria early March 4 nights.. Who's up for it!

Hi Everyone :)
Looking at setting up a trip for early March 2014 to an Austria resort.
Where would you recommend for a Ski in/out?

I will be riding my skibike! "you're what you say "

I've ridden this for the last 3 seasons.. It's the most fun I've ever had on the snow!
I snowboarded for 14 seasons then had a go on one of these... SOLD the board!

I'm going to Flaine in France 1st week in February but also looking for my March trip.

Can go down most runs, in the trees off piste OK don't like ice
here's a short video from the 1st weekend in January in the Chezch Republic
Conditions were poor but still so much fun!

No problem riding the chair.

I'm 42 and love a laugh!

What you think!

I thought I might give these bikes a go at some point.......until we witnessed someone wiping out on a run down into Tignes over Christmas! I think he got the handle bars square in the face when he crashed. The guide we were with gave him a look over and thought he was concussed. I think there was blood as well......
slippy slidey snow......me likey!

Sad to hear about someone hurting themselves but don't let that deter you.
Look what happened to Michael Schumacher.... You'll still ski.. ;)

Give the bikes a go ... Take it slow ..

:D

Hey, that looks like it could be a whole lot of fun in better snow! :-) I wouldn't mind trying one out for a morning but I'm not sure I'd want to permanently swap my skis. For ski-in/out in Austria you could look at Lech/Oberlech (if your pockets are deep enough ;-) ), Obergurgl, Kuhtai or Solden/Hochsolden. I have no personal experience of staying in any of them (although I have skied Lech and Oberlech while based in St Anton) as ski in/out is not high on my list of priorities. Another area I have been hearing great things about, which I believe has some ski in/out accommodation is Zauchensee. Good luck.
