pamporovo 10cm snow

hi i m going to pamporovo on 26 dec for one week. is 10cm enough for snowboarding? thanks

Only if you're using a hire board !!!!

That's really barely enough snow for anything other than beginners slopes...

so how depth does it have to be for some fun? and did you ever hear anything about pamporovo resort?

Sorry, i know nothing of the resort...

I don't think there is a minimum depth as such, but i wouldn't like to board on anything less than about 20cm.


the depth is not an exact figure, just an average, which means it could be 5-10cm either way, so if you only have 10cm to satart with, do the maths....

if only 10cm, you may feel any rocks or stones though the snow when you carve, which will bugger the bottom of your board...

Beginners slopes tend to be more gentle and on grass, so this won't be so much of a problem, but higher, and steeper slopes would be less than ideal...

Sweets!! I'm goin this friday for a week. Can't wait. I phoned up the resort and they said there is 15cm of snow but snow is expected this weekend. wer u from?? Im from ireland so snowboardings a big deal for me as i dont get to do it much

I'm thinking about Pamporovo this year or next Jan.

Has anyone been to this resort before, and when is the best time to go for a week or something?

I went to Pamporovo in February. Snow wasn't good at the bottom of the slopes and chair lifts but was great at the top.
Boarders have their own area at the top of one of the chair lifts (ie away from everyone else) and my daughter had a great time.
