Tony

If I were you, I would not put off doing the Sarenne. If you get a fine day early in the week, go for it. If the weather is anyway iffy, the wind can knock out the cable car and then you find the week is over and you will be annoyed that you have not had the chance to do this beautiful run. So my advice is get on it as early in the week as you can.

I would also be careful about picking Signal l'Homme for your first morning. IIRC, the main red runs over there are fairly demanding and can be icy. Depending on conditions and crowds, you might be better off getting your ski legs back on the main area.

Anyway, enjoy and have lots of fun!

Sound advice, but as I said, I will probably aim to do the Sarenne on the first day with SnowBandit if the weather is good. As you rightly point out, it may be the only chance that week and I dont want to miss it.

Cheers.

I guess then that I should also consider that then.
It is my target for the week so I want to achieve it.
I suppose if I do it in the first couple of days then I have the rest of the week to do my second target.... Scare Chair

All this talk of the Sarenne is just Stewart drawing the conversation away from the scare chair!

Well spotted Andy.
My thinking is is that if I can ski the Sarenne, I dont need to do the scare chair as it finishes at the bottom of Auris Lift.
Wicked

We're happy to do it (the Sarenne) as soon as we get the chance...Might be that we can all do it together on the morning of the 10th. Tony it's sounding like the Sarenne will be good preparation for the reds on the Signal l'Homme. :D

Right now I'm trying not to think about Gatwick airport and snow!
