It must be a swizz ...I haven't won!
Did it a few days ago ...it is a good survey!
I'm an old f***t and have already planned my trip ...but then I drive and don't have to go to an airport thank the lord
I learned to stand up on skis in the 60s on a little dry slope in the basement of the local ski shop (Stokes ) in Sheffield ..I used to use the late lamented Sheffield ski village which was fantastic ..like a proper ski run complete with chair lift...The dendex was ok so long as it was properly watered but it could be a bit hit and miss ..The main problem was, if you fell, avoiding catching your thumb in the stuff
Stay positive ski friends.

Like Far Queue I drive and have already decided on two of my destinations ...but the third is problematic....it depends on friends having a discussion ...and they seem reluctant...but the thing about driving is you can change your mind at the last minute....none of this booking 6 /9 months in advance ..
They needed replacing a bit small and slow....but mind you they needed a bit better piste marking as well as you really dont know which piste you are going down ..
I've half planned next years ....if we survive!!.....its the thoughts that keep me going...
I agree with Stevie999 ...I have heated gloves which I do need if it gets really cold but most of the time I dont need them even in January when I go ..I have a heated gillet which is great but I use that more in the UK when it is wet and windy than in depths of January in the snow...the clothing is so good these days if you wear the right things and dont stand around too much you dont get cold especially in Europe ...mind you in the NE USA it might be different
