got my January trip lined up ...planning a round europe trip.. 1 week in the Dolomites 1 week in L2A and a week in Andorra ..2000 miles ...just arranged with the hotels though nothing definitly booked and if I can get across the Channel I will ring and confirm

Well reading the news via SwingBeep it seems to me that this winter will be an ideal time to go ...better service and less crowded slopes ...can't wait!

I have been to the Dolomites 7 or eight times ove the last decade and this is the first time I have heard of this place ..looks interesting but .. its a bit cut off ...How do you get there If you are in the dolomites ..the only way I can see is to go to Alta Badia ski over to Kronplatz/San vigilio ski over to Brunico or Perca and catrch a train...but you might not get back ...which is expensive (its happened to me)

I have booked one hotel already and written to another ..but the ..I drive ..there is really no need to book a crossing , at that time of the year you can usually do it a few days before and there is always room in a hotel if you are just a couple ..but remember all this year we will all need proper insurance and if you are driving a "green card"

all I can say is WOW...one of those to replace the defunct Sheffield ski village ( an indoor one was proposed at some time) would be fantastic.

I am planning to stay for my first week next Jan in a little place in between L2A and AlpH ..the weeks lift pass gives you access to both, and..if you are an old f**t like me ..its free!...Have car will travel ..then on to the Dolomites and Austria.
