Hi PSC,
If you get as far as ski-ing to Courchevel, and you see a tall, fat, middle-aged woman in black cheap salopettes, a blue jacket and a white helmet, who keeps falling over, that will be me

Ally - if you see an average height, average sized, middle aged woman, in cheap but normally expensive brown Orage pants and a bright Green Columbia Jacket who is limping badly and wearing some really crappy rear entry boots off Ebay - that will be me!!

Perhaps TonyH you could do the honours of filming Dave Mac a la Graham Bell style :D
Glad to hear RosiePosie is on her way - you have got to admire any single lady taking her daughter skiing on her own bad back or not. Wickers I have forgiven you for your message of "support" after I posted about my broken foot....

Strap it and get on with it ....... it's your ski holiday !!!!!!!

Take your thermals, facemasks, fleeces and handwarmers and wrap up warm

We had similar conditions at Christmas so I am hoping for it to change dramatically by the 14th 8)

Well done Caron and Mr A - you have done brilliantly. We had a taster session at Chill Factore and my daughter and hubby a two hour lesson in France last year but they got nowhere near turning! Perhaps my daughter needs to go on a days course at Chill Factore if she wants to pursue it. I'll show her the video - this may be expensive

Most of her friends snowboard but don't ski. It's handy to be able to do both like my son but he does honestly prefer ski-ing despite the fact his girlfriend and all her family are snowboarders and ban him from skiing when he is with them
