Hello, thinking of going to livigno or les deux alpes with the outlaws! i think they really want to go and we really want them to experience the "skiing" type of holiday however, mother in law has a bad back and wouldn't be able to ski.
Are there any other activities within these resorts that can be done during the day to help pass the time? Obvious one I can think of is drinking? :D Dog sledding, helicopter rides, tobogganing (ish), Walking, any help would be greatly appreciated. |

went to les carroz last march, very friendly people.
we went to the "l'agora" restaurant every night where I became absolutely addicted to this foxy french waitress, schhhwiiiiing! all the staff there were dead friendly (gf wasn't too pleased though) Everybody really was super-mega friendly there, from the transfer to the bars and even when I wiped out half of the elderly skiers on the slope!! (another story!). I had a great time speakin "frenglish" to everyone who just laughed at my inability but blatently appreciated the fact that i'd tried. If I was to take a family (not that I have one) skiing anywhere, it would most defo be les carroz! |

No misinterpretation, for 4 adults sharing an appartment it's £1001.00 with Neilson, seems a bit too small a resort for me though. I like to go exploring!

Just found a staggeringly cheap deal to Rauris (Austria) as in £251 pp for one week s/c plus flights. The resort seems v small. Is it part of a bigger ski area or is that it? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

i brought some pretty good ski's and boots last year on the bay, totalling about £150 (not bad for head monsters), had 2 weeks use out of them and then sold em back on the bay for £110. 2 weeks ski hire for £40 can't knock that. Plus you have the luxury of knowing how/whether it all fits before the trip.
