I wouldn't call resenting to pay £6+ for less than a pint tight, you defo wouldn't pay it in england!!

Think you're right though, we should go to andorra and livigno if we want cheap booze!! Can always buy beers from the supermarches anyway which will be considerably cheaper than in the bars!!

Couple of similar issues.....

Serre Chevalier anyone?? Serre Che is a bit more lively a resort so I presume more competition lower prices?? Anyone verify or nullify (love that word) this?

Euro, will we get a better rate in resort or (as i assume) as the pound keeps plummeting are foreigners fearing the prospect of being in posession of money which becomes worth less and less by the day and thus buy it only at cheap prices? Anybody wish to "negate" this theory?

:idea:Helpful Hint: I received lots of spirits and wines this christmas so, bang a couple of bottles in the case and money saved!! I have also reloaded the hip flasks! Just make sure it's in your main case and well surrounded by towels and stuff so as to protect the bottles. If it's in hand luggage you're giving it away to HMR&C - B*$t&rds!!

We also have a Russian Spies drinking game which will be interesting.......

plenty of water before bed, bananas contain potassium which helps apparently or there's the good old english breakfast!!

I find that about 10 pints kind of makes me forget a hangover

Wotcha got then...did Santa call by your place :D

I treated myself to some cheapens off the bay, Rossignol Actys A100 170cm. Intermediate ski but should be ok for what I'm after, and only £62 brand new with bindings and a bag make em that little bit better!!

I keep trying to find some cheap monsters on the bay but they're pretty scarce.

Not sure how much this affects the normal skier,

but i'm 6ft and skied on 163s last year. I went for head monsters which are to date the best skis i've ever used but i just couldn't get on with them.

I think the boot size (10) meant that I was too near the back of the ski and thus didn't ever really feel smooth when turning (compared to the 177s I've used.

So does boot size have a baring on your lengh selection??

Traveladdict, I envy you!!

Pas is by far the best resort i've been to as far as apres ski goes, who are you going with?

I went about 4 years ago with Neilson and had a fab time, skiing was good, met loads of people and had a whale of a time in the bars!!

As above, the Underground is the place to be, go to the Mexishack night for great food and unlimited beers!!

I kind of palled up with the Neilson Reps and pretty much everywhere they went was a party!!

Have a great time!!
