Yo, I'm going Pal - Arinsal in jan with Neilson. Managed to get flight to toulouse accom for the week and transfer for £150pp ski/boot hire and lift pass for an extra 150 (which you can apparently use on grand vilara and val nord areas)

Pal - Arinsal is defo the quieter of the resorts and more suitable for beginners judging by the piste maps but at £300 each, who's complaining??

I did Pas de la casa 3 years back and had a fantastic time!! the neilson reps really looked after us and came out drinking too. It was so easy to go out and meet people in the underground bar (i was with my dad and younger bro so had to go solo at night) and everyone was really friendly. Defo a good time to be had in Pas!!

hi all, i've been hearing rumours about la nina meaning more snow for europe? Can anybody clarify what it actually is and how it promises more snow? I know it's kind of an opposite to el nino and something to do with ocean temperatures but that's about it?

I speant xmas 3 yrs back in andorra, met some great folk, loads of great skiing and very cheap, (£350 hb) plus pas de la casa has awesome apres ski. Think andorra struggled for snow last year tough? I'm still gambling with andorra in january though. It's La nina year apparently which suggests Andorra will get a shed load of snow. Not sure how true this is?

Why not try the taster induction classes in the uk? Xscape (fake but real snow) in castleford (leeds) offer taster lessons at £15 for 1hr, if he likes it and picks it up, why not go for a week? why not even try for yourself?

Thanks, i've just looked at a map and realised it's 20km(approx as the crow flies between arinsal and Pas, might leave that one to a taxi driver.

Is there still a neilson rep about called Kirk? He was such a great laugh last time i was in andorra, it'd be cool to meet up if he's about?

Hello, does anybody know what sort of snow predictions are going on for andorra in early jan?? Also i vaguely remember being able to ski in neighbouring resorts, is this still the case? I'm in arinsal 06/01/08 and would like to ski to pas de la casa for a steamboat in the underground!

Finally, for any bar owners with a PA, if i take my acoustic guitar, is there anywhere i can get a gig? I'll play for free, and I guarantee you'll enjoy it?! send me an email!
