Ski for Charity !

can't help but think people who don't know much about skiing would be reluctant to sponsor as it seems to be funding a holiday??

I'd do it for £199 though, how much sponsorship dya think you need to raise?
Strikes me as being a bit steep, (excuse the pun). I had a week in Andorra last year with decent accomodation, 6 day lift pass, ski hire and flights for £370pp

There's an extra 5 days skiing there for only £120 more. Plus, there's no rushing about. Conditions were a bit poor though.

Me and my bro went to Paris on Eurostar for £75 return last month, I bet it can be done cheaper if organised by yourself.

What about driving over and kipping in the car?
tonyh, very cheap deals to frieder...... what's it called?? ryanair.com 3rd - 10th of jan less than £50 return. it does cost an extra £75 to take bag and skis though?? Which at £125 is still pretty good for return flights

from stansted
ebay is always good, I got some wicked spyder pants off there last season!

think thy were £30?? I find the maxx very good for the peripheral bits, goggles, gloves etc etc

Rock on!!!
we've got some more tunes in the bag and some pretty good shows coming up but no new recordings, be sure to check our new site on the link below and post your thoughts on the guestbook.

RECORDING IS GONNA BE HAPPENING IN THE NEXT MONTH OR SO - when we get student loans!!

I get the feeling it's gonna be cold this year, looking at the posts - bring it on!!

apologies for the caps, my bad!

so where do you guys get your chav slang from, your obviously more educated than myself!

I liked the look of the cervinia pic on the other thread! I'll look into the st anton and the other resorts you mentioned. 3rd of jan week seems almost a cert, would like to be out for christmas week in an ideal world - guaranteed to be a white one, but cost seems to be a bit high.

Has anyone noticed book prices are a bit higher than last year? Is this because soon enough there won't be any snow to ski on?? might just be me?
quite simply, stunning.
Sorry guys but in my absence i've developed a satirical liking for chav slang, "doin nvq level 2 man, innit??"

Anyway, as i'm going into my final year at uni soon following my placement year, i initially didn't think i could go skiing this year.

However, due to my placement going well, i've been offered a job on a part time basis with more money!! Thus, I'm rocking up the slopes again!!

Went to see my old school mate andy bennett compete at xscape yesterday which really got my mouth watering,www.britishsnowtour.com (look at the bottom pic of castleford, benett did a backflip INTO a grind on that box!!!! mental!!) I'm also booked to have a freestyle lesson on the 20th November at tamworth www.salomongromcamps.co.uk

Anyway, i'm asking for some suggestions as to where I should go this winter. 3rd of Jan is an absolute latest and 19th december earliest, cheaper the better as i now have to buy some more ski's & boots. I'm going with GF but there could be others involved too? Last year I did Andorra early jan, although it was a great place the ammount of "skiing" was very limited due to lack of the white stuff. Don't want this again, i'd rather pay the extra and be guaranteed some skiing.

Hope everyone is well! Caron-a, how's the legs? Tony-h, how many ski trips is it this year?? AJ, Pav, Iceghost, the bandit, mike from ns, jan, admin (don't remember your actual name?) : I've missed you all!!

Winter is back!!! woooooooo hoooooo!! :D :D :D
