Its back, the best way to spend a day this winter, yet again the we've managed to secure some seats on this fantastically slick 24 hours of fun. How cool is heading straight from the office to London St Pancras after a hell of a week in the smoke. Make sure you have your ski gear though...you're off to the mountains and we're not talking Aviemore....
By early the next morning, you'll be minutes from all the best ski resorts that France has to offer. Ski your legs off for the entire day and make sure you're back down the mountain after a quick vin chaud to jump back onto the Eurostar for your return journey home. That's it - job done - a whole day on the slopes and you're back Sunday morning to ease those sizzling limbs!

This is how it works:

You head straight to London St Pancras or Ashford from work on Friday evening.
You ensure you have your ski gear with you.
You're off to the mountains on Eurostar night train
By early the next morning (Saturday), you arrive at the bottom of the mountain, not far from all the best ski resorts that France has to offer.
Your arrival stations Moutiers, Aime la Plagne and Bourg St Maurice serve ski resorts such as Courchevel, Meribel, Val d'Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs and many other guaranteed snow-capped pistes.
You ski your limbs off for the entire day or simply sit and guzzle vin chaud at the top of the mountain.
You make your way back down the mountain to catch your return train.
You arrive back early Sunday for some serious recovery into St Pancras.

as someone who's not skied before though I doubt it would work too well for you really.

Why not stay one night, get 2 days skiing and go straight to work on the Monday?

I say the people who devised this plan are lightweights.

Ise I was considering this but not for my first trip...That would be suicide.

I think it costs £249.

I reckon that would work for a group of guys or ladies that are looking for some white stuff but don't have many holidays to enjoy. it's a way to ski a wee more than usual.

I don't suppose that's too bad value really, obviously lift pass etc on top but not bad.

I have an idea it's best for intermediate level skiers still though, the sort of people who are ski fit and can hit the slopes and just ski all day probably would get the most from it.

Pretty damn expensive for a days skiing?!

I'd FLY out late friday night after work (or maybe very early saturday morning to save the cost of extra night accomodation)...ski saturday and sunday and then fly back late sunday night!

Probably cheaper as well, with the cheap flights.

Maybe but i still don't think that would be as cheap. And think of all flight delays at the airports, also you don't have luggage restrictions on the eurostar.

But I agree is not for everyones pocket.
Like ISE said if you are a proeficient skier and can handle a days ski no problem, and have the gear it's a great way to spend a weekend, or you could take the sunday evening train and stay saturday night in a chalet. Arriving on monday morning in London ready for a days work.
