Val Thorens, December 2002. Minus 25 at midday in the sun, every day. That is the coldest I have ever been in my life, and learning, too.

still went back for more though didn't you :?:

Personally I can't wait, I think if you've got the right gear for the right conditions and you're moving it beats laying on a beach any day of the year :P

Are you sure you're not spending too much time in your ski workshop... inhaling all those wax fumes?

I think you need a snow-fix!

I agree, Pavel you are the ONLY person I know who can see the connection between fish and skiing :!: Excellent reading as always.

I don't see why not :?: Anyway, it's not very important but they do not sponsor the British team at least not the seniors, they do sponsor the juniors and the freestyle team. I think that's more consistent with their brand as well. Sadly UK/GB snowsport's made up of a thousand different organisations which rather dilutes sponsorship.

I think the current clothing partner for the seniors is Besson the Italian company which I can't see any difference in principle from Schoeffel.

well I knew they sponsored A British Ski Team  But you are right ise, they do indeed sponsor the juniors, and Besson sponsor Snowsport GB, which is the fangled name for the governing body previously known as the British Ski Federation. According their website "Snowsport GB - a new modern image for the today's governing body for British Skiing and Snowboarding" Rebranding seems to be getting everywhere these days
