How bizarre :!: Just gone back outside again and the sleet has indeed turned to snow - just a few miles up the road from you in Raunds. Think the dry slope at Rushden might be worth a shot :twisted: :wink:

Just been out to the car and it's official, it's sleeting :!: Now before any of you that reside in the Alps or anywhere else currently blessed with 2 metres of snow start picking holes........ In my little corner of England this is something to shout about. Of course this means that the trains can't run, the gritters will still be tucked up in their depots, the Police will warn motorists not to travel unless it is important (what, like going to work then?) and thousands of people will 'phone in tomorrow morning and claim they can't get into work due to the weather.

Meanwhile under 2 metres of snow in the Alps the world keeps turning...... :lol:

I have many a tune on the generic mp3 player (don't want to show any favourtism towards one or the other :!: )) and far too many to mention here, suffice to say that I only ever seem to play the tunes on the lifts or in the bus on the way there, once on the piste I don't think anything can beat the sound of freshly tuned skis (thanks Pavel) cutting into freshly groomed piste. Heaven :!: :!:

I don't know why but I just assumed (mother of all f**k ups - I know!!) that being in Nova Scotia you would be blessed with snow sooner than this as it sits on a similar line to the Alps. Still you fare better than us Brits, 1/2 an inch and you'd think the world had ground to a halt :lol:

This only strengthens my desire to relocate to Austria as soon as humanly possible. The place is magnificent, I however am with Pavel, with this on your doorstep how do you find time to sit on the 'net :!:
