You could try sending a PM to TheSnowGod. He'll know what's going on.

That reminds me - I've got three more order to place :mrgreen:

Possibly over simplifying things here but;

To get heart/lungs fit then see if any of your local gyms run spinning classes (exercise biking to music - sounds camp I know but it's only for an hour!). Really good work out. During the first session you will probably think it's the worst thing you ever done but stick with it.

Get out on that dryslope. Dryslopes are like the worst snow imaginable but worse. If you go enough your muscles will get used to it and make skiing on snow a lot easier. There's nothing like a dryslope drag-pull to get them shoulders/arms/hips/legs/ankles/feet/toes and toe nails into condition.

If only I hadn't used up all my holiday. Sounds a bargain!
Who is the best at boarding?

I reckon you're both gonna fall over an awful lot!

I'm not sure if I could go through the whole learning process again. Especially when I could be out on the mountain carving it up :thumbup:

A skier friend of mine is having boarding lessons during our Holiday in January. Her partner has never boarded or skied. I'll let you know how they get on.
Brilliant photo of Mont Blanc Dave. Real atmosphere to it.

How about this for all-singing-all-dancing!

Animal do a great ski/snowboard backpack with built-in hydration system (cammelbak copy). I have one and I love it. You can even strap your skis or snowboard to it if you find yourself having to hike your way up a piste - as I found out in Tignes this November when all the lift were shut.
