Maybe the bad workman is blaming his tools?

In good light as suggested mate. I doubt he has good ones in poor light conditions.

Andy, I'm back on the 5th jan. I'm away for new year. And away again on 9th feb.

Yep. You're right. Not much cop in poor light. Great when it's sunny though.

Trying to work out if I can justify the new GoPro Hero3 Black Edition. That's supposed to have much improved low light capabilities. The HD slow mo is also improved which I reckon could be quite effective on a ski holiday.

I used to suffer with this terribly (and still do on the first morning of skiing). I tried various different insoles etc but in the end I just worked out it was nothing to do with the boots - it was my head!

I found it was due to nervousness/tension and presumably a certain amount of foot 'clenching'. My arches would burn like hell.

Once I've settled down and relaxed it all goes away.

Not sure what the cure is other than to keep skiing, relax and have fun!

Thats, I think, the route that runs down over towards Stuben from St Christoph near the Alpe Rauz chair. No, its on our list to do  Does it have the Tony H seal of approval? :D

Thats the one, under the Valfegehr chair. Its brilliant fun.
I've got a video Ellistine did on that run. I'll post it when I get a chance.

I watched a vid posted on here with out music ..... a throughly great vid, being old I can't remember who posted it

There's generally a good reason to 'mask' the video audio with music. Here's one of me and the wife last summer.

You're probably right.

Yep. All perfectly valid points.

I'm sure if the slope was completely untracked we wouldn't even had considered it. In reality it looked like it had seen more action than the piste had. It's a difficult one. There's probably a reluctance to invest too much time/money in off piste gear until at least you know you can ski a few inches of fresh and you can't find out without trying a little.

The wife seemed to do really well in the deep stuff mind so perhaps it's time to swat up a bit.
