I think skis only become aggresive if you let them. If you stay ahead of them, think faster than them, react quicker than them and most importantly, remind them who paid for them then they'll act like a couple of puppy dogs.
If though, just for one split second, you drop your guard then aggresive skis will quite literaly jump up and bite you on the arse. My Salomon Streeracer 10's are probably not so much aggresive, but more 'fiesty'. They still enjoy making sure you are paying them full attention every once in a while. |

I think really you need to make a decision - to buy or not to buy!
Generally hire boots are pretty awful. There is usually a limited choice and sometimes even a choice of one manufacturer. Also the hire shop probably isn't willing to spend too much time getting a boot to fit propperly. However money talks so if you were on the market to buy a pair of boots then a lot more time would be spent on trying to find a boot that best suits your needs and even, if required, modifying the boots. My girlfriend has terrible feet (very wide by the toes, narrow elsewhere) but she has boots that she can keep on all day If you decide to buy then post you rough home location or which resort you are planning on visiting and I'm sure someone here would be able to recommend a good boot fitter. |

I wonder how many resorts below 2000m are still suffering the effects of the poor 2006/2007 winter. It was a very bad year that one but obviously it isn't like that every year and the early indications this year seem to be that we are in for an average/good winter. Average is good though. I'm sure the people of La Clusaz, and their visitors, will be happy with an average year :D
