Hi,
You could try somewhere else but to be honest the Tarentaise Valley is well known for having late snow.Thats why resorts such as Val and Tignes can stay open until early May.If you tried somewhere different you may miss out on the snow. Come and stay with us in Villaroger, we have had fab conditions late season for the past 4 years. Have a look at www.skivillaroger.com. Kumari |
Les Arcs is great, for all levels of skier, you will not get bored here.
We have a chalet in |Villaroger and the guests love Les Arcs as it has so much to offer and fab restaurants too. If you are into wine then you must try the newly opened Cave at Le Monal, Ste Foy Village one evening. Kumari www.skivillaroger.com |

Paradiski is a great place to ski before xmas, it usually opens the week before and the slopes are really quiet. As it is high altitude it is pretty much snow sure. We have had our chalet here for the last 2 years and experienced great conditions that time of year.
If you are thinking of having a trip, please have a look at our website www.skivillaroger.com.We are also very close to Ste Foy and Val D'Isere/Tignes. Kumari and Jonny Kaye |
We have currently availability for the week 5th-12th January and are offering a fully catered price of £250pp for the week.
It has been snowing all weekend so dont miss out on great conditions. You can find all our details on www.skivillaroger.com. Jonny and Kumari Kaye Tel:0033612733523 Email:leloissel@yahoo.com |
Yes we agree re stability of snow, but you can always hire a mountain guide who always has your safety as first priority. Also where we are situated(Paradiski) our guides take us heliskiing in Italy, as we are so close to the Italian border, as it is not legal in France. This is a totally awesome experience.

Hi,
Paradiski (La Plagne/Les Arcs) is a massive ski area, probably one of biggest in the world and has a great snow record because of its high altitude. Off piste is fabulous throughout the area due to been able to get fresh tracks days after a snowfall. There is also a great park. However Ste Foy is also a mecca for boarders, infact a lot of the sponsored teams go here for photo shoots. We always ride here after a dump. The atmosphere is really chilled and is a cool place to be. The off piste is second to none. We know all this because we live here, and love it.If you want to know any more please get in touch, you can find our contact details on www.skivillaroger.com, as well as details on our accomodation.
