New skis

I fell in love last year, at the ski show, with a pair of Volkl Kenjas. They served me well and have still got a lot of life in them and I'm sure I will go on using them for some time yet.

However, if, 'hypothetically', I was to get some new skis what would you recommend? 8)

I'd recommend Alpe De Huez...Fits all your criteria. :D
Morzine

I was in Morzine for the whole season last year, the weather was pants (the worst season for snow in decades apparently) but we had a brilliant time and still managed to ski right up until April.

We will be going back in December for another season and we are expecting better conditions...Surely it can only get better this year!

You will have a fab' time.

See you in the Tibetan bar!
Andora

Soldeu would be my choice without a shadow of a doubt. Much nicer town than the concrete jungle that is Pas de la Casa. Access to main gondola is easier in Soldeu, and friends that have had lessons have been very happy. There are some great slopes in Soldeu that will give a beginner confidence.
Never going skiing in .....

Is it?

I've been to Andorra 4 times and on each occasion had good snow.

Wedze Carbon ski poles £25 from Decathlon. I got them because they've got soft and comfortable grips.

Salomon Mission RS8 boots £160 (£70 off) in rare white/red colourway

Reusch gloves £25 TK Maxx (normally £80)

Adidas Yodai goggles £55 from the US, normally £115

Bailo black ski jacket £80 TK Maxx, rrp £380

North Face 5 Point jacket in green £160 Ellis Brigham, normally £240

Black North Face cargo sallopettes £75 from US normally £150

Nike ACG red sallopettes £17 from Nike Outlet store, normally £110

Blue Quiksilver sallopettes 110 euros. I had to buy these in ADH when my case went missing, but got the money back on insurance, so I guess they were "free"

I've also got a few fleeces, including a Berghaus one for £17.50 from Blacks, and a couple of Alpine Lowe ones for £25 in TK Maxx, normally £40.

I like to get decent stuff, but I don't like paying full price for anything!!! It pays to shop around.

Lol!
