I am 4ft 11 (and a half) and currently ski on 156 skis. They are all mountain, with semi twin tips. I'll probably upgrade this year and get some rockers, I expect I'll stick to pretty much the same length.

I used this company:
http://www.ski-insurance.co.uk/activities/ski-seasonaire/ They were reasonably priced and covered off piste without a guide. I also had a Carte Neige which covers getting you off the mountain in the event of an accident. But probably didn't need it as the insurance covered that too. I have known quite a few people who did not have the Carte Neige and were still taken off the mountain. I remember a friends ski's were retained until they could show proof of insurance. |

Just a guess but is it that women will take part in all events now including ski jumping?

I am looking forward to going home, for sure. I can't wait to see my family and friends. But I wish it was just for a short holiday!

I kind of gathered that from your opening post but glad you confirmed for those who got a bit confused
I'm not back in the uk yet but I know just how you are feeling. I cannot imagine now, not being in the mountains for the whole of the ski season. I can't bear the thought of only being able to ski once, twice or even three times a year. Some might say I have gone bonkers, and if that's true I don't care because I'm having the time of my life! |
