I fell in love last year, at the ski show, with a pair of Volkl Kenjas. They served me well and have still got a lot of life in them and I'm sure I will go on using them for some time yet.
However, if, 'hypothetically', I was to get some new skis what would you recommend? 8)

That would depend largely on what you wanted to use the ski for. No sense in having an overlap )

What about a slalom ski? Great for times when you only have an hour or two, and you really want to get a good workout without going all the way up the mountain.
because I'm so inclined .....

SB, those Volkl's are a cracking ski and I dont really see why you'd want some more. However, as these are all mountains, I can only think that a pair of decent GS or similar piste skis would be a good selection.
I found some real bargains in mayrhofen in early March, including Fischer World Cups down from 699 euros to 249 euros. I have asked myself a few times since why I didn't buy them.
