All sounds good to me, though our après ski may be a little more hectic, the other 6 being Irish!

Thanks Wickers was looking forward to it already even more so now if the place has the 'Wickers' seal of approval, will do as you say and check those places out. Kind of figured we were on the outskirts but ski bus if needed close by not sure what kind of walk tho to get in the middle of things?

Staying at the San Giovanni, they all booked back in Sept 09 so have just tagged on to their booking, was space in a room and on the flight fortunately. Has decent reviews tho and apparently there's a drag lift outside taking you high enough to ski over to the Carosello 3000. Probably all means far more to you than me!

Am now going with a couple of my wife's cousins and friends so 7 of us in total heading to ... Livigno. Bit of a trek for me having to go from Gatwick down from just outside of Liverpool but for all of £22 return can get there from Runcorn easily enough courtesy of Virgin trains. Here's hoping the return flight is on time to catch my train back up!

And I know, I know, it's a long transfer but hey am sure it's fantastic once there isn't it Mr Wickham? Please tell me it is

Just having a quick look on www.ski-rental.co.uk and they allow you to specify your shoe size when booking online so guess you could do this and then assume that they'll have the right board/boots in for you?

Think they deal with Manni's though which Tony H has indicated weren't that great when dealing with him but that was for skis etc. Can't be more help sorry!
Prove me wrong?

Hi jonG, great helpful post but can I be pedantic, does it push a lot of the buttons or tick a lot of the boxes  not sure ticking buttons would get you very far
Eurotunnel ...

I know it's hardly amusing for those whose travel plans have been upended but can't help smirking everytime their ad banner at the top of J2Ski changes to tell us that the eurotunnel is 'the fastest route to France ...', maybe not this week hey folks, though the airports have had their fair bit of disruption just to add a bit of objectivity and fairness to this post! :-)
