Just sent you a private message, but 11 of us off on 21st, including 3 children, ages 8, nearly 6 and 3 and a half, all girls and my parents in law as well so a mixed bunch with me, wife and bro in laws, and one of their fiancees too!

Blimey you go away for a hard earned nights sleep and come back to your post and it's like an episode of Doogie Howser and ER all rolled into one :D

I think the only way to make this side tracking of the post come full circle now is for something terrible to happen to my knee ha ha :shock: which requires an MRI!

But LM I certainly would love to get some skiing in over there. Only relatives I have in Canada are in Ottawa but whereabouts would you recommend ... ?

oh gosh I would be afraid at anytime to ski indoor :shock:,we dont have those here!What are they like to ski on?

Great news about your MRI anyway hope everything goes well for you and oh yes, lots of fun will be had on our jolly holidays!

As for skiing indoors is pretty good but small, small, small, no sooner have you left the top of thr slope than you're catching a lift back up! But must make do with whatever we have!

Will get skiing over your side of the Atlantic at some point hopefully - have a friend who's in Lake Louise as we speak (rather type!), his third time there, so he keeps leaning on me to venture out that way. It will happen. Just don't know when! :-)

Hmmm I suppose claiming all of it may be a bit megalomaniacal :!:, and it has been done before, pause, badly ... :shock:

I know I've read some (lots!) people have already been and come back and some go on the 28th, but is anyone off on the 21st ... :?:

Pardon my total ignorance of all things to do with horse riding but could he perhaps have been responding to any change in the way you were riding i.e. if you were holding back a bit more than normal - though I guess there's not much different you would be doing if just trotting down the carriageway! Just a thought and probably a wrong one :-)

The way I'm going by next Monday I'll be wrapped up in cotton wool and bed ridden :P

Is it just me that suffers from this?

Still have 10 days till I go away but am now refraining from some ski-ing on an indoor slope (more to avoid being injured than causing myself any damage though that's not to say I'd be above doing that either lol :D) and am also avoiding playing in my regular 5 a-side matches for fear of being injured before the holiday arrives! :)
