No skis/poles - just my own boots. Does lookingly longingly at them count as preparation? (I've been doing that since August!)

Might be worth a look at the Ski Total site - a fly from Edinburgh offer on 20th Feb. Not sure the resorts will be quite suitable though.

Judging from your posting times, it took you as long as four hours to get your own way - perhaps with a bit more practice, you could get this time down by at least three hours fifty-nine minutes....... :D

My ski jacket is White Rock and is still as new after about 12 trips/washes/Nikwaxes. I ski but really feel comfortable in boarder pants. Used to wear my son's cast offs but now buy proper ladies boarder pants. Have just replaced my old ones (Tog 24) with No Fear ones from Sports Direct - reduced from £99.99 to £29.99. Tried TKMaxx but nothing I felt comfortable in.
