Hi Tony_H it would appear your in the same category as me, i also am shopping for a new set of skis and have decided to purchase pair of Scott Crusades. Yes you budget wont stretch to buying you a new pair but there are some good deals on the 2010 mdel online which you can pick up for around £250/£400. I have done a lot of research over the last few months and it doesnt look like there are many skis out there that quite as much of a punch as these.
Hope this helps. Christian |

Hi all im selling my Salomon Aero X skis. The skis are 170cm 1 yr old and in good condition. They have the usual light scratches on the tops from waiting in line at the lifts. I can send photos to a personal email address on request.

Thanks for the info. You confirm what everyone in the reviews says about them. I agree with you about the lords, I read there better off piste than on. Ideally I will ski mainly piste but I want the option of skiing pow if I can without having to worry about the skis. I'm hoping to test a pair later this yr so I'll let you know what I think.

Hi everyone, im looking for a new pair of all mountain skis for the coming season/s, after a trip to my recent Ellis brigham store and a lengthly discussion with a very helpful member of staff he has advised that the Salomon Tornado Ti 2011 ski would be great for me. He also pointed out the Salomon Lord, Scott Punisher.
They havent got the Tornado test ski in yet so i haven't managed to actually ski this ski. Out of the 3 i prefer the look of the Tornado and from talking to the chap he said its a more evenly matched 50/50 ski... Have any of you got or used this ski before and what are your thoughts on it? After looking around on the internet reading reviews etc alot of places say this ski is for experts, how true is that and will it be too good for me? Id class myself as an lower advanced skier, i can carve ok but still looking to improve off piste and on moguls etc hence why i want an AM ski. If any of you can advise of any other AM skis that i should consider then it would greatly appreaciated Thanks very much.. |

Hi all, before next season kicks off i have decided to buy myself a new pair of skis. I currently have a pair of Salomon Aero x which are great piste ski's, but after skiing a bit of powder last season; i have decided to buy an all mountain ski that will cater for all terrain.
Im looking for a ski thats probably 60%/40% piste bias... but also something i can improve off piste skiing on.. I welcome all your suggestions. thanks |
