Tbh when on holiday I have a daily budget to spend on the slopes and evening for meals and drinks. We stick to the budget and once it's gone it's gone..... If you would spend £3.70p for a bottle of beer in uk on a night out why would u complain about 3 euro for a coke etc? It's no different.

Also as tony says, look at where your drinking, eating, location, view, surroundings....... Isn't this part of the experience.... Don't really see the point scrimping only not to enjoy myself. Work hard all yr and it's my time to relax and enjoy.....

Deffo a skier, sorry no offence to boarders but skiers rule. Simples! Boarding is Sooooo 80's :lol:

Well sometime ago now I announced that we wouldn't be skiing anywhere this season due to my OH expecting a baby. We had no idea what we were expecting as we wanted our baby to be a surprise, I'm delighted to be able to share with you all that on Thursday @ 15:17 we took delivery of a very healthy and gorgeous baby Boy!

He's brought us so much joy and now we can look fwd to many family ski holidays in the future. :thumbup:

There has been criticism of the positioning of the final jump and the width of the finish gate. It was possible to go over the final jump and ski straight into the net after landing. Most D/H have padding cushions in the finish area, and having seen the video of this accident, the netting appeared to offer no shock absorption.

Yep, your right... Can't argue that at all. I also thought the netting seemed a little too close to the final jump. A real shame..
