one would like to know... what are the statistics for serious Head injuries compared to other injuries sustained on the slopes

Have a look here...It's very low!

Gloves! I just can't decide

I have Salomon leather gloves and I also have Salomon leather mittens...Had the gloves 4 years and the mittens three years. They are very warm (mits keep my hands slightly warmer) and they are both still in great condition...It looks like I'll get many years of wear out of them! :)
Let's get this season started!

I think I had a very long run of good luck as up until last year I have always managed to be on holiday when they are having record snowfalls!

Last year alas my luck ran out and I spent best part of the season skiing on ice!

Who knows what'll happen this year...Time will tell.
Well, well, well! Spoke to City-link and driver said that he left the parcel with the neighbour directly to the left of me. "That will be Bill; 'he's a police man" I said. I then went on to say how the policeman was also able to tell me no one called 'Sharpe' lives within 200 meters of the house!

Driver is now going to retrieve the parcel from where he left it and deliver to me tomorrow. The plot thickens! :hunf:
Why do you love to ski?

At the risk of repeating myself  ...

The peace and tranquility that the mountains give so generously.
That 'being on top of the world' feeling.
The sheer pleasure of being able to put those planks on my feet and make them do what I want.
Being surrounded by people who have the same passion...The community spirit!
Being able to forget completely about everything and anything to do with work and the city.
The pleasure of walking into a toasty warm bar to relax and refresh (and not worry about what I'm wearing or hat hair!)
That special feeling when you take your feet out of your ski boots and put them into your comfy shoes.
The alchohol in the evenings!

I already did.

Don't give up the fight......

They have a signature.

I've asked for the address they left it at and I'm waiting for them to get back to me. I've knocked on all the immediate neighbours, so if they did leave them somewhere, then they must have picked a random house!
