I can understand that - I picked up a transfer from Innsbruck many years ago, one of the passengers stepped out of the airport and slipped on ice, breaking her leg.

I think I've become more paranoid since reading this thread :shock:

I could be wrong but I was always advised not to use my own skis on a dry slope.

Have to say I have been extremely paranoid about injuries recently, the dog nearly pulled me over on sheet ice the other day and I declined to join someone in the field by my house for a spot of skiing at the weekend for fear falling over on crappy snow.

Yup - me too.

Watch out for the 'corner' on the way up the Penken gondola - throws a lot of people off balance - kept me amused every Sunday for weeks :wink:

My OH has gone to drop the kids off, nice quiet house, TV, phone, house to myself - a million things I could be doing, but here I am, again.

He doesn't 'get it' me being on here either - and he claims to be more excited about our hols than me - 21 more sleeps!
