Yes, depending on where you get on.
Assuming there is no queue, which there shouldn't be at 8.15-8.30am, it should take you around 15 minutes from boarding until you are skiing at the top.
You can also get up on the Horberg gondola, which is slightly quicker and takes you down the back of the Penken area, and you also get to sit down on those.
I see you are going at half term week, so it is likely to be busier than I like it. I can only strongly suggest you make it up on the first lift at 8.15 to avoid queueing in the mornings. I did a day trip on Dec 30th and arrived at the lift station at 9.30am and it took us almost 45 minutes to get up, best avoided. You might find you have to queue to get off as well, if you go down between 3.45 and 4.30:

Thats why I avoid peak holiday times!

Was there at Xmas with family so we had to go with the flow and yes 45 minutes was the worst and 20 minutes queue the best at the bottom of the gondolla. Not sure what time they run down till but between 3.30-4.30 there was 20-30 min queue to come down on it as well. Once your up there and away there was hardly any long waits at all!! Tony H knows the area well and gave good advise about skiing the Ahorn if you have novices or those who lack confidence to start off with.

I was in Mayrhofen over the new year period last year and it was very busy. I skied the Ahorn in the morning and the Penken in the afternoon to miss the queues. There was always a big queue on the Penken gondola. Never queued on the Ahorn, once the gondola came down everyone got on, it takes less than 10 minutes to get up the Ahorn mountain.

It might be worth considering the bus, then the lift from Finkenberg - Thought about it myself once or twice when the Penken queue was ridiculous, but then again, it mightn't make much difference in the long run.

Off to Mayrhofen myself on 15th Feb, PM me if you fancy meeting up...
