Thinking about skiing.....

Hmm, think the last couple of posts have helped my decision. Lack of piste mileage would be a problem for me, I like to do something different every day if I can, if you can ski it in a day then I might leave it til I'm not such a speed freak.

I know that feeling all too well, none of your mates care how excited you are but you just HAVE to tell someone. You can always rely on us to share your excitement.

I haven't even booked mine yet and I'm excited.

I find the odd glass or two (or three) of wine helps with the sleeping too. We are probably going to Val on the Eurostar in Jan, it's a 30 min transfer to resort from Bourg which is what I like, I'm too excited to sleep on the way there anyway, I did get more sleep on the way back, I was pretty knackered by then.

Shame the Snowtrain has had it's day, I did that once and ended up in a couchette with 4 other blokes (plus hubby) who managed to come back from the disco carriage with a traffic cone and spent the rest of the night farting.

We did the Eurostar a couple of years ago and managed to sleep for about 45 minutes in total, the evening entertainment was provided by a couple who had just met trying to fornicate in the chairs opposite

I heard a rumour that the Snowtrain (the one with the disco carriage) is not running this year. I read this on the WTSAS website so it must be quite reliable information, however I notice that the TOs are still offering it as an option to travel - :?:
