We saw a corking zebra print one piece in Chamonix last week. It won our "outfit of the week" award
Better skiing: Lessons or practices?

I'm a reasonable enough skier, in that I can get myself down most things with a modicum of style and grace.

However, every time I go on holiday I have one 2 hour private lesson. I've never failed to learn something, and so far, it's never failed to improve my skiing in some way. last week it was invaluable for learning to ski deep powder, and massively increased my confidence. The rest of the time is practice and fun.

Aye, a lot of it looks good, but the live cam at the top of the chavannes chair was showing grass and mud as well as snow yesterday.

I had a fab time thanks :D

My instructor definitely says don't lean back, but the best advice was to use firmer pole plants, and also to turn harder, almost using your hips and bum to shift the snow out of the way. It's taken almost 39 years, but I knew my arse would come in useful one day....
