On the Route du Signal, just by the yogurt pot lifts! Not too far from the Grande Sure chair either which I suspect we'll be using!

BTW, I was reading your thread about getting Meg her own boots - we got Joe his own last season and it made all the difference. Plus we didn't have stinking socks because of hire boots any more - bonus!!
All info/tips about ADH gratefully received :D |

and I am very excited. Just wanted to share :D
We are tied to the hell that is February Half Term but we've found a great apartment in the old town, so armed with Tony H's report from last year I reckon we'll be fine. |

That's a worry!
We stayed in a catered chalet a couple of years ago with a group who really thought they were a cut above all of us because they a) were going touring with their very own guide and b) skied in jester hats The other couple were from New Orleans and the mismatch between the two groups was a joy to behold....worth every penny for the entertainment. Food was good too :D |

Mont Chery is fab - some great reds and blacks, almost no queues. We had a great afternoon there last week with Snowbandit & Scapula who took my 11 year old (and me!) off piste for the first time, just off the red Marmotte run on Chery Nord. Joe is still buzzing about it now.
As for the Les gets side - there's a great red run down the back of the bowl to the Perriers chair - trees to play in if there is powder, a couple of nice steep bits and it doesn't get too crowded either. That and the Tulipe red at the top of the Rosta chair are my favourite reds. As for food - if you're eating up the hill then Chez Nannon is by far the best. It's in the Nyon sector underneath the Troncs chair on a blue run. Make sure you book as it's full every day. have fun - we had an amazing week there (still meaning to do a report and pics!) last week. |

+1 for North Face sallos - I've skied in a pair of Bonfire snowboard trousers for the last 7 years which still have plenty of life in them but are now miles too big. So this year I went mad and bought myself a pair of North Face sallos - £110 in the sale!! But worth it - at -15 I could squeeze a pair of longjohns underneath too so I was warm.
Really pleased with them and as I am no dedicated follower of fashion I intend to get my money's worth over the next 10 years....assuming they still fit! Now I just need a jacket...I started wearing Husband's spare jacket 8 years ago as a stop gap and I'm still wearing it - I've never actually got round to buying myself one. |
