I've said this before on another thread, but I like repeating myself - last year we flew with Monarch, ski bags obviously packed to the seams with stuff, no questions asked. The people at the next check in desk, same airline, same situation, were made to take everything not ski/board related out and put into their other luggage.

Totally pointless if you ask me, its all going on the same plane.

Thought I would start a little game (if that's ok with Mr Admin), I'd like to think you all know word association, I start with a word then the next person has to put a word that is associated with the one that I put. I'll start it as ski related and see how far we get before we start repeating / running out of words and then use 'normal' words. So I'll start with...

Skis!

I'm still looking for my ski exercise book. Also dog walking and thinking about jogging now rather than using my bike.

The mind is raring to go and all that.

Must get motivated!
So did you have any luck?

My goal is to loose 10lb by Christmas!

So you can put it all back on over Christmas?
Is it just me or could I drink to my hearts content some years ago and NOT have a hangover? This no longer seems to be the case and I was always convinced the altitude was saving me from hangovers.

These days I like a beer with lunch, a vin chaud at the end of the day and a few wines with dinner. Never in bed later than midnight.

Yawn.

I love the Apropose in Mayrhofen. Slightly off the beaten track at the 'other' end of town, a good place to have a few beers and not get deafened by music.
