God this made me smile!!! It has taken me 4 years to get up to my hubbys standard...and yes , he did try to teach me how to go that extra step and yes I could have divorced him there and then!! Much more satisfying finding new buddies at your level and having fun!!
Lol!!! Bring out the video for Christmas....could be a money spinner!!

Cheers Pav....Have had that advice, and am doing all I can to sort it...break and ligament rupture which was nice!!! Word of warning for people , this was caused by someone who was out of their depth on a black run and took me out from behind, so really important to know your own limits as it may not be you that takes the brunt!!! Lesson over!! Sorry to preach, but don`t want anyone going through what I did..

Thanks again Pav

AND BRING ON THE SNOW!!!

Agree with Megeve..was there last year around Christmas and again for short breaks in Feb and March....Great resort and pedestrianised village makes it ideal for getting around at night. Not the cheapest place but the slope grooming, lift queues and scenery are second to none!!Love the place!

Hey....I did the package thing with Inghams when I started skiing and in total it cost about £ 850 pp including private lessons, ski passes, accommodation, transfers etc etc...As someone else has said, the internet is a powerful tool and I have never booked a package again!!

You can pick up deals off the internet, speak to hotels direct, gain friends off sites like this who know people who will offer lessons in resort and it works out so much better value for money.

Having tried both routes, I would never go package again....just start to make contacts!!

Jo :-)

Great Advice......Just started the cross training, so if snow falls high anywhere early December, will be there ready!!!

On the other hand, had a freak accident last year ( with a novice boarder on the wrong slope so agree with your advice on knowing your limits!!) and broke my ankle, and am looking at strengthening the ligaments before I go....anyone know any good exercises for ankles as the cross training has caused some twinges in the joints?? Thanks in advance guys!
