Well I would personally say leave it until the last minute, assuming you aren't going over Christmas or New Year then you should bag a bargain just before you go, see where the best snow is and then do some TO hunting.

Thats what I'd do anyway, others might possibly disagree.

All I want for winter is decent snow and a new pair of salos. And maybe some matching socks.

We always ski as a couple, we are planning on booking last minute this year which can work out very cheaply.

We usually set ourselves a budget for the week and then do lots of research with all the TOs.

As we all seem to be thinking 'winter' I thought I would look into the ski show and arranging a meet up (which hopefully I can actually attend this year). Its on from Wednesday 20 October until Sunday 24 Octber.

It may be that two are arranged for those that can only make the weekend (ie me).

So, who's up for a few beers and some over excitement about snow?
