A person reaching young adulthood around the year 2000.

I thought it was a plant which flowered every 1000 years!

:( I think Lauram8 has a lot to learn if she thinks that anyone over 35 cannot either ski or be fashionable!
Sunglasses for skiing

My current pair of Revo sunglasses are now 20 years old. I love them, use them for skiing, sailing and driving, so they have been used constantly for the past 20 years and as far as I can tell, nothing wrong with them now to make me consider changing them.

They have a sort of blue lens, which is actually yellow when looked through from the wearers side and are fantastic in all light conditions.

I would like to wish Adders, the rest of the J2Ski team and all the J2Ski family a very Happy New Year.

I want everyone who is out partying tonight to do their best snow dance please, looks like it is needed for those going early January. :)

Merry Christmas Everyone. Hope you all have a fantatsic day!
It has been several years, and clearly with previous owners, but I have used that shop to rent my equipment twice before when skiing in Tignes. They were good then, so hopefully even better now and worth using if in the area and needing equipment.
Geneva to La Plagne drive

Hi Pahadia,

Sorry I cannot help with your question, but I am assuming that as you are asking it, you will likely be hiring a car at Geneva.

If so, I just wanted to check you are aware of the new rules currently in force https://www.j2ski.com/ski-chat-forum/posts/list/17092.page#153172
Is there ANY advantage to hiring anything but economy skis?

I think the most important thing is that the skis don't clash with your boots or ski pants. Contrasting colours are OK, but no clashing. As long as you get that part right, then nothing else is likely to go wrong! :)
