Another thing I would consider getting is something to keep your neck and chin warm. A micro-fleece type neck tube is great when the weather gets really cold or windy.
And make sure your goggles are a good fit and of reasonable quality. Nothing worse than goggles which constantly mist up. |

I suddenly have a hankering to try a pair of mittens this year. I think I will pop into my local ski shop before xmas and treat myself to some, depending on what he has.

I should also add that you should not rule out mittens. Many people swear by mittens and they will usually keep your hands warmer.

Hi Emmwall, I have been using Zanier gloves for several years now, and these are available for under £50. I do always tale multiple pairs of gloves now though, mainly because I have built a collection over the years and have them, but also so I can match the colours to my jackets :)
