Beginner's guide to clothing for skiing/boarding

Another thing I would consider getting is something to keep your neck and chin warm. A micro-fleece type neck tube is great when the weather gets really cold or windy.

And make sure your goggles are a good fit and of reasonable quality. Nothing worse than goggles which constantly mist up.

What a shame someone had to walk all over that lovely cord! :)

Jealous really, enjoy it msej!
I suddenly have a hankering to try a pair of mittens this year. I think I will pop into my local ski shop before xmas and treat myself to some, depending on what he has.

I should also add that you should not rule out mittens. Many people swear by mittens and they will usually keep your hands warmer.

Hi Emmwall, I have been using Zanier gloves for several years now, and these are available for under £50. I do always tale multiple pairs of gloves now though, mainly because I have built a collection over the years and have them, but also so I can match the colours to my jackets :)
Did you photoshop out the draglift! LOL

Have a great time Ade :)
 would I book a ski holiday with someone called Wang Dong! No chance, reminds me too much of 70's dodgy film stars!
