I think Boris made his point about trends in fashion but in the case of the above article the wearing of a helmet saved the authors life. Has anyone seen Boris at the nudest colony yet. |

quote=Finn My wife was & still is as keen as mustard to go but I have too many reservations.Finn
Where would you go if you did go? What are your reservations about not going? Our original plan was to stay on the eastern side of the Rockies & try & base ourselves as close to the oil, oil sands, petrochemical, pharmaceutical industrial regions of Alberta but still within easy access of Banff. Preference was to be nearer Calgary than Edmonton, it is over two years since we looked into it but I recall Red Dear county as being a possibility. As for reservations well they are the same rational ones that we would all list, family connections, job security, pensions, health care provisions & the upheaval for the children. The one thing that did put me off was annual leave & the leisure v work balance, most employers did not offer much in that department. Finn |

Plenty of skiing still to be had in the Alps, I wouldnt worry to much. Looking at the pictures Pablo posted Glen Coe Scotland is the place to be.

Some great skiing shots there Pablo, good chance of a mid week trip myself this week. If you look very carefully at the picture of the Buachaille you can see three mates of mine on Curved Ridge! That was their plan at least.
